The Union Grove Baseball Wolverines were dealt a huge blow Friday night at the hands of the Jones County Greyhounds.
Union Grove struggled to get the offense going in the 10-2 loss, scattering seven hits across seven innings.
Joey Pourron started the game on the mound for the Wolverines. He went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on four hits and striking out two.
The bright spots for the Wolverines were Ty Kaufman and Peyton Sower who each managed a pair of hits in the contest.
Union Grove looks to bounce back against the Greyhounds as they travel to Jones County on Monday.
