Wolverines Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Bourbon County
Wolverines Varsity took the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over Bourbon County on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Wolverines Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Grayson Gammage doubled off of Connor Johnson, driving in one run.
Bourbon County scored three runs in the fifth inning, but Wolverines Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Bourbon County came thanks to a single by Brandon Brown and a error.
Wolverines Varsity captured the lead in the second inning. Connor Johnson walked Grayson Gammage with the bases loaded to drive in a run.
Bourbon County evened things up at three in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored two runs for Bourbon County.
